Hi Welcome to our blog Chic Little House! My name is Katrina and my husbands name is Hasani. We are a young married couple with a tween, toddler and a dog named Mojo living in Sacramento, California. We bought our 1956 Rancher 4 years ago and begin the process of putting our personal stamp on our home.
We've been blogging about about all DIY Projects both big and small since 2009. We've tackled big and small projects including: Making Our Baseboards taller, Refinishing Our Hardwood Floors, Refinishing Craigslist finds (dressers, tables) Sewing Curtains all on a budget.
Right now we are in the process of rebuilding our home after suffering a house fire in the Summer of 2012. We've been blogging about our entire rebuilding process and sharing all the details of paint colors, door selections, light fixtures with our readers. We are excited to wrap up our home rebuilding and move back home in early Summer 2013. I'm excited to create a home that we love and filing it with laughter and love again.
