The past few months since dealing with the fire loss at our home, I've learned many new things about myself & some I already knew to be true but everything has been reaffirmed. Life is an amazing journey and its crazy to think I'm still getting to know myself at 32 years old! I put together a list of life lessons I've learned the past several months. I already knew 2, 4 & 6 to be true. But some other numbers I didn't pay as much attention to as I do now 1, 3, 7 & 8. I also learned when I'm in a funk and having a bad day a really bad day, I still try and remain positive 11.
Have you gone though any 'Life Changes' that have taught you new things about yourself?
**Update: Tuesday I'll share our Home Tour Drywall Edition**

A wonderful list! I needed those words today even thought they weren't meant for me...it's that time of the month ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great outlook on life!!
Have a great weekend!
What a great, positive attitude. After reading your words I sat and thought about how I handle what you've been through. I'm not sure I could handle it as gracefully as you have. What a blessing that your beautiful family was not harmed by the fire, I have no doubt that's the most important thing you take away. I hope your newly rebuilt home brings you much joy.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your thoughtful words of kindness, I'm so thankful to have my family!
DeleteGreat Post! Yes, I have been through several life changing events! All I can say, is, just keep living, and you will experience some more!! Congrats on continuing to "learn yourself"!

DeleteLearning about ourselves is always beneficial- I know that through all your challenges, you have been able to hold it together and that is a major accomplishment. I am so happy to know you are moving through this phase in your families lives with grace, faith and love. I am trying my best to do the same.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to read about your loss, but extremely excited for the new beginnings you get to have and we get to share in. Thank you for allowing us into your home and its rebuild.
ReplyDeleteLove this. I am learning a lot more about myself and owning it. I think when you own who you are and what makes you happy, the world is a better place. I am learning to listen to the voice inside more. It's helping me make sense of things.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your list. Even though you posted this list for you, it has helped me as well as a reminder :).
