Pinterest Pin of the Week, is where I share my favorite Pin of whatever has been on my mind during the week: Decor, DIY, Gardens and Food and much more. Custom window coverings can be very pricey. Fun Fact: When I was younger I worked for Wards in the Custom Window Fashions Department selling custom blinds & draperies, so if you ever have questions about measuring, or determining fullness for drapes, email me :) Now back to my pin of the week, I've been thinking about buying pre-made roman shades and then adding patterned fabric or ribbon to create fully functional DIY custom shades. One bonus about using pre-made roman shades, is the new shades will be a 'little lined' for privacy.

Love patterned shades. Actually fabric painted some from Ikea. Works great.
