Alassis Winter Candles + Giveaway

I'm getting super excited about the Holidays this year and may even have some Christmas decor up before Thanksgiving. I love Holiday candles, but not the overly sweet smelling ones, I'm always drawn to ones that smell incredible and layered in scents. My new favorite candle of the Holiday season are the Alassis Winter Candle Collection

.Alassis candles are an exclusive collection of fragrances inspired from ancient gardens, using only sophisticated ingredients.

The Holiday candles smell amazing friends, when both non lit and lit. I placed the Noble Fir & Juniper candle on the bar cart, I love how each Alassis candle is layer in scents. The Noble Fir & Juniper is layered in three fragrances. Top: fir, citrus, juniper berry. Middle: menthol, resin, pine cone. Bottom: cedar wood, sandalwood and musk.

Not only does the Noble Fir & Juniper candle smell amazing, its incredibly pretty while burning and they burn for up to 40 hours.

The sound candle from the Alassis Winter collection is the Frosted Fig & Cranberries candle, the smell its heavenly friends! This candle is also layered in several amazing fragrances. Top: fruity, cranberries, red currants. Middle: floral, rose, violet and fig. Bottom: woody, musk, spicy pepper and vanilla. I burn this candle daily for hours when I get home in the evenings.

Get the Look: Modern + Classic Thanksgiving Style

Earlier this week, I shared my dining room tablescape for the Bloggers Stylin Home Tours: Thanksgiving Edition. I love how airy our vintage table, a craigslist find looked all dressed with candles, flowers and desert for Thanksgiving. I tend to lean on the more modern less is more approach when setting a table, today I'm sharing my sources to achieve the same look. Plus you'll never guess what items came from the Dollar Tree store that added touch of modern glam on my table.

1. Candle Holders: Tea Light Holders Similar Style Sliver Cut Tea Light, Elsa Tealight Holder small, Mona Tealight Holder small & medium
2. Dinnerware: Bowls Color Glaze Prep Bowls, Champagne Glasses Similar Style Camille Champagne Coupe Glasses. Gold Rim Dinner Plates Dollar Tree Store
3. Glass Vase: Lucita Vase, Vase on Bar Cart Clear Crackled Vase
4. Bar Cart: Eliza Bar Cart
5. Set the Table: Napkins Metallic Star Napkins. Napkin Rings Aria Brass Napkin Rings

When it comes to shopping for my home especially for dinner parties, I shop everywhere from Crate and Barrel to the Dollar Tree store, to get the most bang for my buck. I like to mix items we already have with few new finds to make our table shine a little more. My happiest find is buying a set of four white gold rimmed plates from the Dollar Tree. The gold rimmed plates added the touch of glam I was after. I also love stocking up on tealights from the Dollar Tree store and Target. I purchased the flowers on my dining room table and bar cart from our local market along with fresh greenery for around $20 bucks. I hope you have fun creating your own Thanksgiving table in a few weeks and remember to shop your home first!

His & Hers JORD Watches

Now that the weather is finally starting to cool down in Northern California, my husband and I have been enjoying Saturday morning latte dates.

My drink of choice is almost always a latte while he loves to mix it up and try out seasonal drinks. I love kicking the weekend off in a slow manner and just enjoying each others company. In addition to us sharing a love for lattes, we also have a thing for match watches, it just makes us happy. We've both recently fell in love with the wood watches from

JORD. These watches are so pretty, I love the wood grain on each watch which makes each of them unique. When my watch is on my wrist, I can't stop staring at it, it makes the perfect arm candy addition to my wrists. For my wrist, I choose the

Ely in Maple, I love the wood grain complements my skin tone. Whenever, I wear my JORD watch, I always get asked questions about, its so cool to have a wood watch. Hasani, choose the Fieldcrest in Maplefor his wrist.

Snapping pictures for Instagram, because seriously when coffee is good its a must share. Hasani had a Mexican Mocha, which was so good. I seriously had order envy!

I brought my

JORD Watch

with me while

on Holiday

, and left the watch on California time, Hasani set his watch to London time. It was a sweet reminder while we where apart what to be able to look at our wrist and know what time in California or London. It really made the eight hour time difference easier for face-time and calling each other.

Check out the amazing selection of wood watches on the

JORD

website, they have so many to choose from. Hasani and I are, already eyeing our picks for our next his and hers matching watches.
