I love the idea of adding labels on the shelves to help keep linens organized when they are put away.

I bought large wicker baskets for our linen closet a long time ago, which are perfect for storage, but lately there just junk bins. I'm going to see if I can make them work in the space, or they may end up moved into the coat closet. Hopefully I'll get started on this little project on Sunday, looking forward to an organized after.
Is your linen closet also crying out for a organizational makeover? What do you to keep your linen closet nice & tidy?

Ooohh to be so organized as in your picture! My linen closet is kinda sorta organized, but not really the way I'd like it to be.. I have the wired shelves in mine, and I despise them sooo much! But, I've got to come up with inspirations and ideas of how I can change all that... and just reading your blog today has inspired me a whole bunch! Thank you!

Sorry you aren't feeling well, I've got a head cold myself.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had a linen closet like that. I keep blankets and sheets in a chest at the end of my bed and towels are in a plastic storage bin behind my headboard.
I still have no idea how to get sheets folded neatly like Martha. I have tried her explanation and I always come up short.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon and good luck with the party planning.
These are great pics! I just organized mine last summer and it felt good. : )
ReplyDeleteI swear Martha does it right with everything. These linen closets are great! One day mine will be too;-)
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon!
Our linen closet is insane, but I LOVE the idea of labels! Maybe someday when I get my act together . . . oh wait, that will never happen. :)
ReplyDeleteMy linen closet is currently half storage (upper) and half linens. I have been telling myself I really need to get that taken care of but for now - it is just a closet. Thank God I don't have a ton of company - I'd be totally humiliated if someone were to see it!
ReplyDeleteI think the main problem everyone has with linen closets, is that we have waaay too much stuff. Bedding and towels can be expensive, so I hate to get rid of them when I paid good money for them. So, I have 8 sheet sets, 40 towels, etc. I hope I'm exaggerating, but I honestly don't know!
ReplyDeleteI love the look of that closet. There's really nothing better than an organized closet. I have a linen closet in desperate need of organizing. I'll be pretty busy this winter. I'm excited to see how your closet turns out.
ReplyDeleteLove all of your images, and yes, not only my linen closet, several of my closets need organizing!

Lots of vitamin C and D helps!!!
ReplyDeleteI really thought I had ours organized. Labels and everything. But then we swiched to a king bed and instead of resorting the linens, I now just have giant pile of white sheets in various sizes clumped together. Not looking forward to figuring that one out....
ReplyDeleteI WISH we had an organized space in where in our house!! BUT-I will move on.
ReplyDeleteI am working on getting rid of some linen that we never really use!
All donations will go to the shelter for the homeless!
Maybe if we have less it will work out better.
