Wow, my first time seeing the before. The room looks great now, it came such a long way.
ReplyDeleteYour dining room deserves to be shown off! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! I'm going to check it out right now.
ReplyDeleteCongrats! I'm going to check it out too. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm new to your blog and I love it! Keep doing what you do.
ReplyDeleteThanks ladies, glad you liked our dining room makeover! :)
ReplyDeletePretty Fearless, so glad you found my blog :)
Dang, that "before" was not cute! But I just love your "after."
ReplyDeleteCongrats! What a fun feature!
ReplyDeleteLove the feature! Super Job!
ReplyDeleteI heart your room make over. The room looks so much bigger and modern now. I'm interested to know how many times you two wanted to kill each other during the makeover. My hubby and I are in the process of revamping our house too. Our closet remodel would have made a great reality show.
ReplyDeleteI love the addition of the chalk board over the buffet too, and great tip on revamping plain curtains. You two did a hellavah job on those base boards! I feel a thrift store shopping spree in my future. BTW, I love Ikea too!!
Hi Hillerie - We had so many moments while we were removing the tile that left silent frustration in the air, which can be worse than arguments. You know working on a project side by side and not wanting to look at each other! lol
ReplyDeleteBy the time our faux wood floors were installed we were happy campers once again!
I'm glad you like how our dining room project turned out! like most diy projects it always takes longer than expected, but the outcome is worth it.
How fun! Your dining room really is beautiful! Off to read your feature.
