Avery's new twin windows, replaced the sliding glass doors. All the 'white paint' you see on the inside is actually smoke sealant. I can already picture him playing in his room & looking outside his windows, it makes my heart happy.
His windows from the outside.
Our new dining room window! I love all the natural light shining though. It's so easy to picture banquette seating in front of our window, read more about my dining room plans here.
New kitchen window!
We decided to put grids on all out windows, and I'm so happy with our decision. I love the extra character they add to our little rancher. Looks like our move home date has been pushed back to Mid-April beginning on May, which gives me a little more time to pick out paint colors, lol :)

Oh, it looks good...I know your mind must be racing with possibilities...
ReplyDelete“I can already picture him playing in his room & looking outside his windows, it makes my heart happy. “ - This really made me smile, Kat, thinking the same for my kids. Make sure to smooth the edges well and add some grills outside, if you may. As parents, we want them to enjoy as we want them to be safe. :] -->Isaac
ReplyDeleteThanks Isaac! Glad you understand that feeling! :)
DeleteI'm with Isaac Andre on childproofing the house, but it doesn't end there. If you're going to purchase items for the house, make sure to avoid sharp and pointy objects, things that they can swallow or pieces that are breakable. Kids are very stubborn, and they can get hurt easily. By the way, your windows are big enough to let enough light to pass through, you don't want too much sun. Good luck on your house renovation! Upload more photos soon! :)

Isaac and Sandra's right! Always make sure to baby proof everything inside the room because we only want what's best for our kids. How are those windows looking now? I'm sure it'll come out great and your son will definitely enjoy seeing the world outside through this window.
