On the way home I stopped by The Dollar Tree and brought a $1.00 foam wreath. I applied glue and wrapped the feather boas around the wreath. The result is a spooky chic Halloween wreath.
{ Ignore the lovely writing on my beat-up door! }
FYI: I was browsing Eddie Ross's blog today and came across the feather wreath how to - with great pictures! I forgot to take picturse of the process...oops
His website has many great Halloween Decor ideas!

I love the wreath from Target, too! I thought I would have to make my own using just feathers, but the boas are a great idea! Thanks for sharing this! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment on my blog! I've been looking for drum shades, but haven't found any that are proportionate to the lamp, since it's so tall. I was planning on adding a little ribbon trim, too. I did that with a light in my office and will be posting the photos next week. Thanks for stopping by, and way to go on the wreath!
ReplyDeleteAngela ~ the boas are the perfect solution! I'm thinking of making white wreaths for Christmas!
ReplyDeleteDayka ~ your welcome! Those lamps are great. I'm looking forward to seeing your next lighting project.
