I bought poppies, the petals looked so delicate. They reminded reminded me of tissue paper. I'm planting them next year! I got some pretty, reed looking flower - they were so pretty I forgot to ask, what kind they were. Any ideas?
Have you been to your local framers market this season? Pick up any great blooms?

Those poppies are wonderful! I've wanted to plant some here for a while, too... someday...
ReplyDeleteWhat great blooms. I love how they add just the right pop of color for the room. Great job!!!

Flowers are always great in any room - they simply give a great zest to everyday living...Love your blooms.. Don't forget to tip a little bleach in the water and change the water every three days while also cutting approx. 1" off the stems to keep them looking amazing longer.

Such pretty flowers!
ReplyDeleteI love having fresh flowers in the house but I don't buy them nearly as much as I'd like. Great tip about the farmers market- I have to remember to check it out!
ReplyDeleteMy neighbor has tons of poppies planted right next to our patio. Gotta love that her planting bed is next to their garage, but we get to enjoy them!
ReplyDeleteI would never cut them, but at least the patio area is pretty :)
Hi, I love the simplicity and style of your home...I found you over on another blog and just have to follow your progress! I love the last picture with the flowers and the yellow pillows peeking out behind...:)
ReplyDeleteThanks Heather! It's been a lot of fun and sometimes frustration working on our home :)
