What I like/love about kitchen # 1
I love the dark hard wood flooring and the glass, white subway tile and the nice large window
What I like/love about Kitchen # 2
All the glass! The double windows, the vessel sink Ooh La La
What I like/love about Kitchen # 3
I love the school house pendant light! The bead board ceiling, so pretty & the open shelves & blue lower cabinets - nice
What I like/love about Kitchen # 4
Again, I like the open shelves and the dark color in the cabinets -very unexpected! Of course the cabinets are to die for and I really like the butlers pantry.
What I like/love about kitchen # 5
The wall color really stands out to me, it looks like wall paper. I'm also digging the pendant lighting and UM-amazing kitchen island.
What's your favorite kitchen above? I personally love kitchen # 1 - its so fresh just the face lift my kitchen needs. For those of you that painted/built a white kitchen { thinking about going white/dreaming of white}did you opt for dark or light counter tops? I'm so on the fence about dark vs. light counters....

What gorgeous kitchens!
ReplyDeleteI'm in the planning stages of painting all of our cabinets white. I'm a little nervous about how it'll look with our dark countertops, but seeing these pictures helps me visualize it. Can't wait to see what you do with your kitchen!
I would say number one. the others are traditional looking to me.
ReplyDeleteI had the same dilemma with countertops. We went dark, and I am so glad we did. It's a nice contrast with the white cabinets and backsplash.
ReplyDeleteKitchen #1 is my favorite, too. I love the simplicity of it. If I could redo my kitchen, I would definitely go for the dark countertops colors paired up with white cabinets.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see more of your kitchen project.
They're all beautiful, but I really love #1, mainly for the dark countertops against the white backdrop. LOVE. I also like carrera marble with white cabinets, but it's so much harder to keep up.
ReplyDeleteOh I love them all! If I had to pick one, I would have to go with #1.
ReplyDeleteI love love love white kitchens... if my kitchen wasn't already remodeled when we bought the house, and I had my way... it woulda def been a white kitchen!!
ReplyDeletebtw Kitchen Numero Uno is my fav of the bunch pictured!
These are very beautiful kitchens! #1 is definitely very modern and sleek. I also like #5 because of the light blue walls - it's so fresh and airy.
ReplyDeleteI love #5 -
ReplyDeletewe are in the planning stages of our new kitchen when we build again and this time I am going w/
white cabinets -
white subway tiles for a blacksplash,
white marble countertops but
w/ black soapstone on the island -
I also plan on having 1 or 2 cabinets w/ glass doors showing my fiesta dishes -which should add some color.
thanks for posting the pictures
Oh la la! These are all so pretty and fresh. I can't wait to see what your kitchen re-do ends up being! I love number 1 like everyone else as well as number 5 and 3. I like the idea of a mostly white palette contrasted with a dark element or an unexpected splash of color.
ReplyDeleteI really like the look of number one too...it combines both new and old in the perfect way, something I hope we can pull off
ReplyDeleteI've added you to my blogroll and I have a giveaway, check it out www.soulpretty.blogspot.com
